Installing a Shopify theme is fast and easy!  The process varies slightly depending on where you purchased the theme.

If you purchased from the Shopify Theme Store

When you complete your theme purchase at the Shopify Theme Store, the theme is generally installed for you automatically.  You can navigate to the Online Store > Themes section of your Shopify dashboard to verify this.  If the theme name is not listed as the active theme, scroll down and see if it's inactive.  If so, you can activate it and continue.

If you purchased directly from us and already have a Shopify store setup

If you purchased the theme directly from our site and already have a store setup on Shopify, follow these steps to install your theme:

• Login to your admin area and click Online Store > Themes in the left navigation menu
• In the More themes area, click Upload theme
• From the Upload theme window, click Choose File to select the .zip file that you were sent when you completed your purchase from our site
• Click Upload. The theme will be added to the Themes page of your admin

At this point, the theme will show up as an unpublished theme. To activate it, click the Publish button. A new window will appear asking if you want to replace your current theme. Don't worry!  Your old theme will not be deleted, it will just be set as unpublished.  Click the Publish button to continue. The theme is now installed and ready for use!

If you do not have a Shopify store setup or you only have a free trial

If you don't already have a Shopify store setup or are on a free trial, your best bet is to contact us after you've purchased your theme from us directly and we can setup a new development store for you. The benefit of going this route is that there is no set time limit to your trial and you don't have to pay any monthly Shopify fees until you're ready to launch. If desired, we'll also install the theme for you free of charge! If you'd like to take advantage of this, contact us to get started.

Note that if you have already downloaded a trial version of one of our themes and have setup all the options in the trial, you will be better off staying with your existing Shopify store and purchasing the theme from Shopify directly.  Only Shopify can convert the trial version of the theme to a fully licensed version and save all the settings you have already setup.  If you purchase the theme from us directly, you will need to setup all your theme options again after it is installed.
